See the human element; everyone has a reason for being who they are and doing what they do. You can determine someone's not for you and still allow their humanity.

Notice the positive. Stay open and relaxed. You can remain discerning and standards-led while releasing your grip on rigid expectations.

Go off-script. Be present to what unfolds organically.

You get to choose your attitude and orientation in dating; "Isn't this interesting?" is a frame that's always available -- even when presented with something undesirable or unexpected.

Not everyone you meet will be your ever-after person. That's OK. Enjoy the curriculum and the experience of dating by bringing an open heart and an explorer's mind.
